After two poor choices for tablets in the past (the Augen Gentouch78 and the Pandigital 7″ Novel), I think I’ve hit the nail on the head with this one.
10″ display, 1Ghz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor, 512Mb RAM, 16Gb built-in storage. A whole lot of power for just $280 when I bought it from woot.com.

Hello,
Have you had any issues with the WIFY antenna? That’s about the biggest piece of information I need to know before I purchase. I have watched quite a few reviews that mentioned the bad antenna. Your input would be appreciated.

I haven’t experienced any issues like that, no. It could be that the other reviewers had bad units, and it could be that I got lucky, but in the research I did before buying it, I didn’t see anyone mention the wireless.
Actually, in my experience so far, it seems to be more on top of things than my Droid X in most cases (I get emails sooner with it).
If you do end up buying one, take a look at some of the custom roms over at the XDA forums. I’m currently running VEGAn-Tab, and aside from a few issues with the market and the Google framework (just clearing the cache/data takes care of it), it’s been blazing fast, excellent on battery life, and just a pleasure to use.
Where did you find the g atom rom? I’d like to try it out myself.
