My first impression? It’s broken. My reaction to that? It’s an alpha, so that’s to be expected. Nowhere to go but up from here.

Id have to say if it being broken mean its still in Alpha then by all means, Natty Narwhal must still be in Alpha too then.

Lets see.. off the top of my head, my wired connection sometimes is not connected after booting up. Natty doesnt recognize my DVD drive, Natty cant play all MIDI files and the sometimes hourly screen freezes or lockups all drove me back to 10.10 Maverick which Im using now without one bug.

Hi, your videos are so nice. One thing I would like to say, why spend time on reviewing something that is Alpha?

Instead you could review the new stable version of Mageia(http://mageia.org/en/), it looks really nice.
Also, you could talk about installing extensions on Gnome shell and customizing it, here is a list of themes from deviantart.

Please continue your good work.Best Wishes!

Viky: I’ve got Mageia downloaded, and plan to take a look at it this week. I’ve been having issues getting it to run in a VM, and since I’ve been ill, time has been even tighter than usual.
Still planning to do a full video about customizing Gnome Shell as well. :)
    Thanks!

    Why review an alpha?

It wasn’t a review, just a first look at it. If people weren’t interested in the video, and didn’t ask me to make them, I probably wouldn’t.

Love the video. Thanks for your work. I do hope that they really work on making Oneiric Ocelot “just work”. For the first time that I can remember I have had the current version just freeze up or break on me – I am not sure Unity was really ready to be released they probably should have waited until Oneiric Ocelot to make it the default. Makes me a little nervous that the alpha is already breaking so badly I hope that they aren’t trying to be to bleeding edge with Oneiric (the current version has plenty new for a while). Thanks again.

Thanks! :) Thanks for making a video on Mageia, coudn’t wait for gnome shell customizations. I forgot to attach the link for gnome shell themes, here it is: http://gnome-shell.deviantart.com/gallery/28081982

Your contribution is a big part in growing open source community. All the Best!

Great information. I love how you make Ubuntu Alpha videos, so I don’t have to download and test. Please keep the Ubuntu news coming.
